A native of NJ, Bri has performed across the country in musicals, new works and Shakespeare festivals. When not performing, she can be found obsessing over her houseplants.
"Mary Zimmerman's revival of this tricky old musical was utterly dependent on the dazzling performance by this hitherto little-known actress, a formidable young talent whose work here was brimming with ambiguity, intensity and, thank heavens, good, old-fashioned laughs. This was a piece of acting unafraid of risk, at once retro and contemporary, willing to dig deep into emotional insecurity, and, in every single moment, as smart as smart can be. The role transformed Sudia's profile in (and out of) town. Thanks to brainy Ruth, a why-did-I-ever-leave Ohioan lost in a strange urban landscape, Chicago has a new star."
